(Note: This form is for students interested in applying to JPL Year-Round Internship Program, JPL Faculty Research Program, Maximizing Student Potential in STEM, and JPL Summer Internship Program

Important! Please ensure you have met the following requirements before submitting an application. Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered. Submitted applications will expire after 7 months from the submitted date.
    1. Applicants must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
    2. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents. Foreign Nationals are invited to apply under the JPL Visiting Student Research Program.

JPL Summer Internship Program


Offers 10-week, full-time, summer internship opportunities at JPL to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

JPL Year-Round Internship Program


Offers research opportunities at JPL for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering or mathematics whose colleges and universities allow them to pursue off-campus, independent study during terms or semesters of the academic year, as well as summer recess.

Maximizing Student Potential in STEM


Offers part-time and full-time internship opportunities at JPL to underrepresented students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. MSP participants may be funded through external partnerships, which provide a cost-savings to the mentor. Contact the program coordinator for help identifying externally funded applicants.

JPL Faculty Research Program


Provides opportunities for full-time science, technology, mathematics and engineering faculty at accredited U.S. institutions to engage in research of mutual interest with a JPL researcher.
